An hour prior to the commencement of your treatment, guests are encouraged to take the time to unwind in the Aqua Retreat. A luxurious setting featuring a vitality pool, steam room & oversized experience showers which cater to both men and women in separate areas. This pre-treatment ritual helps to relax muscles and enhance the benefits of the spa experience.
Treatments I Experienced
Whether you’re a visitor to Perth or a local seeking deep relaxation or rejuvenation, treatments have been designed to relieve tension, restore balance and bring the body into alignment.
Treatments I had included the Muscle Ease Destress Podi Program, the Sleep Support with Shirodhara and a sound healing immersion.
Muscle Ease Destress Podi Program
This signature journey started with an aromatic foot soak followed by Podikhizhi (Podi), a the scent of essential oils, gentle lighting and chandeliers, an atmosphere of opulence and pure relaxation welcomes guests.
Welcomed by warm and inviting therapists who take the time to understand your needs, it focussed on areas of pain and inflammation. This therapy is effective for water retention, sports injuries, muscular and nerve pain, soft tissue inflammation and joint problems – it worked particularly well on my tight shoulders.
The treatment finishes with a full body tension relieving Blissful Marma Massage using a therapeutic aromatic oil blend. This signature combination of therapeutic massage techniques at various levels of pressure provided a far deeper state of relaxation and repair.
Subtle Energies Sleep Support Therapy.
This therapy is based on clinical research and ancient practices to assist with sleep. A guided meditation begins the treatment whilst a full body Blissful Marma massage releases tension and realigns the body’s rhythm. This is followed by a facial marma massage and the Nasya (nasal oil application), an ancient yogic technique to help with sleep.
Shirodhara helps to relieve stress, with warm oil being poured over the third eye, forehead and temples to soothe and calm the nervous system. It assists with treating stress, skin conditions and insomnia, whilst also enhancing emotional balance, helping to get in touch with your higher being. It’s incredibly relaxing and soothing and certainly helped with a fabulous night sleep.
Sound Journeying
Therapeutic singing bowls and other vibrational tools are used to calm, tune and align your mind and body, and allow a deep state of relaxation through sounds and vibration. Placed on and around your body the vibrations spread in waves, similar to ripples in water. Remarkable and therapeutic.
Treatments at the Crown Spa were the perfect way to reduce stress, alleviate tension and enhance sleep. All in an elevated and luxurious environment.
