Pasture & Co

Pasture & Co

Pasture & Co, a hidden gem (popular with the locals), is next door to the Bathhouse at the Grounds. It delivers soulful, nourishing food and the perfect finish to an hour or two of bathing. The menu offers just enough variety without it putting you into decision overwhelm – just be sure to leave room for one of their house-baked cakes.

The focus is on using fresh, organic, and sustainable ingredients, and you can taste their commitment to your health and the planet with every wholesome bite. The seasonal menu is thoughtfully crafted to cater to a variety of dietary preferences, including vegan and gluten-free.

Whether you’re stopping by for a healthy breakfast, a leisurely lunch, or a tempting sweet treat, you will leave feeling satisfied.

As a side note, even outside, dogs are not allowed as Pasture & Co. is set in a conservation area.

Dune Café

Dune Café

Dune Café is a great breakfast or brunch spot post morning swim or walk. It sits in the Palm Beach Parklands, overlooking the beautiful Currumbin Lagoon. It is a relaxed, unpretentious cafe, where you would be equally welcome in your bikini or Sunday best.

Dune serves all the usuals as well as a few unexpected – Truffled Mushroom & Meredith Goats Cheese On Sourdough, for example. Breakfast and lunch are your dining options, or worth a stop just for the coffee. Bring the dog, the kids and watch them play in the park while you sip a smoothie.

Greenhouse Canteen & Bar

Greenhouse Canteen & Bar

This unassuming restaurant recently relocated to Tallebudgera Valley close to Greenhouse the Bathhouse. Their tag line is plant focused whole food, sometimes naughty, mostly nice. I would change the mostly nice, to very nice!

The menu is simple and occasionally they offer a daily special. What they lack in quantity they make up in quality. Be sure to try their Pumpkin Alfredo Gnocchi or Raw Pesto Pasta— wholesome, tasty but no heavy bloaty belly after-feeling. They match their menu’s efficiency with a small selection of local organic wines and cocktails. The cocktails come with a twist using seasonal fruits, herbs and spices.

You will need to book to avoid missing out, as it is a popular hot spot for both vegan and the curious-but-not vegan alike.

Niche & Co

Niche & Co.

Niche & Co is just two minutes from the airport at Tugan on the Gold Coast highway. It serves really tasty and nourishing food – that you’re certainly not going to get at the airport on on a plane!

They are known for their specialty coffee and healthy raw treats, however their Goodness Bowls are worth a mention. They also serve their award winning acai bowls and vegan eggs Benny all day. The menu is vegan friendly and tailors to most food and beverage intolerances.

The vibe is relaxed and the service is exceptional.
