Harmonique
Known by locals as a top eating strip, you can catch a ferry to Noosaville’s Gympie Terrace. The Noosa Ferry is a scenic, relaxing and eco-friendly way to get around Noosa, with seven stops along the length of the Noosa River including Gympie Terrace. The ferry operates 8am to 6pm (every 45 minutes) between Noosa Marina (Tewantin) and Hastings Street (Sofitel Jetty).
You’ll find a diverse range of cuisines to choose from along this strip along Thomas Street, including 250 Grammi for authentic Italian. The ferry also stops at Noosa Sound where you can experience some fine cuisine by the Noosa River such as Rickys Restaurant and Bar, for European food and Rock Salt for stylish Modern Australian.
Noosa Food Tours
Perhaps you’d like to go straight to the source of the ingredients of the meals you have had at Noosa cafes and restaurants. You get the chance to sample these on the Creative Tours food tours. For example, on the Friends of Alba tour, you get to visit the local producers of ingredients together with a cooking class hosted by Peter Kuruvita.
On the Noosa Food Trail, visit a local coffee roaster, a local chocolatier, local seafood providore, gourmet tomato farmer and more.
